Intentions |
| We remember those who have died and
gone before us in faith, and we hold them in prayer. The unity of the
Church includes our relationship with each other and with the poor souls in
purgatory as well as the Saints in heaven. It has always been a practice of
the church to pray for the dead. One way the practice is carried out is by
having a mass celebrated for them. In our bulletin, we list these
intentions and who they are offered by. If you would like to have mass
celebrated for a deceased friend or relative, please call the parish office
(920-1563). A stipend (gift) usually accompanies such a request. The
normal stipend is $10. However, please note that we are not selling
prayers! We will be glad to celebrate mass for your intentions whether a
stipend is attached or not. |
