Dear Friends, Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Pope John XXIII Catholic Community. We have been worshiping together as a newly formed parish in the Canal Winchester - Lithopolis area since late July, 2000. Our community has really gotten off to a great start with very many people involved in the various ministries of the church. I am especially pleased with the enthusiasm and positive spirit of our community. I hope you will find in us a true family of believers who will welcome you as a brother or sister in Christ. In our Welcome Packet you will find several items: a) A Parish Directory; b) a fact sheet, which gives the addresses, phone numbers, mass times and other information you will need; c) A description of our parish leadership structure, including Pastoral Council and its Commissions; d) A description of some of the main parish programs; e) A copy of our most recent Parish Newsletter. Also please note the broad Vision Statement and the more specific Mission Statement which are printed on the inside flaps of the folder. If you have any questions about these materials or anything else, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
